When I first received the nomination I was so excited! But then, to be honest, when I started reading the post I thought it sounded like a modern day Chain Letter (ie. needing to nominate/link another group of people to accept the nomination). BUT THEN I got excited again…this is my opportunity to share a little more about myself with my readers and highlight bloggers that I follow.
I hope that the bloggers that I have nominated see it the same way and leverage this opportunity to share more about themselves with their readers too!

Here are the questions that Emily Rose asked me:
How would you describe your blogging style?
I try to write like I speak – casual but professional with lots of silly side comments. I speak from my heart and give my honest opinions but in the most respectful way possible (see my quote below). I always make sure there is a purpose to everything I write whether it’s for motivation, education, or pure entertainment.
What is your greatest strength and weakness?
I would say that my greatest strength is to see the silver lining in every situation. I’ve been given the nickname “Sunshine” from a couple different people cause I have the natural ability to make people smile and get through hard times. As for my greatest weakness – I don’t believe in the word “weakness”, as it implies that it’s something bad that you are stuck with, so let’s call it “areas you would like to improve”. For me it’s my talkative nature. It’s been identified several times in my life that I talk alot in both positive and negative lights…but it’s always been an insecurity of mine. I’m a natural talker, which my friends say they love as “you’re not one of those who just ‘talks to talk’… you just have alot of fun interesting stories”, however, I know it’s an area I need to be aware of and control in a work environment. As a Marketing Manager, effective communication is key!
What is your perfect pizza? (Important question from the pizza-queen aka me!)
Tough question! So many to choose from, but trying to avoid writing a novel… The pizza that comes to the top of my head is one with LOTS of different mushrooms, arugula, green onions, and hot peppers with light pesto sauce and a variety of cheeses…..fresh out of the over with a thin-medium crust (not greasy)….maybe more of a flatbread pizza. That being said, I also love pineapple on pizza…but don’t think it would be very good with the one I listed below. :p
